Privacy notice

This notice explains how Komáromy Pékség Kft. (hereinafter: the bakery) processes personal data in connection with the komaromypekseg.hu website, and what rights you have. In force from 1 November 2026.

This notice is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR) and on Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (hereinafter: Infotv.).

In short: the website uses no cookies, does not measure visitor numbers and does not itself store any personal data. It has no registration, online ordering, online invoicing or newsletter, so no such processing takes place through the website. Personal data reach us when you email or phone us; in addition, the website’s hosting may record technical data.

Definitions

The terms used in this notice follow the definitions in Article 4 of the GDPR:

personal data
any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, a number, location data or an online identifier;
processing
any operation performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, in particular collection, recording, storage, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transmission, restriction, erasure or destruction;
controller
the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data;
processor
a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller;
recipient
a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not;
third party
a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data;
consent of the data subject
any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her;
personal data breach
a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

Principles of processing

The bakery processes personal data in line with the principles set out in Article 5 of the GDPR:

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency
We process the data lawfully, fairly and in a way that is transparent to you.
Purpose limitation
We collect data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and do not process them in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
Data minimisation
We process only data that are necessary for the purpose, adequate for it and relevant.
Accuracy
The data must be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; we rectify or erase inaccurate data without delay.
Storage limitation
We keep the data in a form that permits your identification only for as long as is necessary for the purpose.
Integrity and confidentiality
We protect the data with appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
Accountability
The bakery is responsible for complying with these principles and is able to demonstrate compliance.

Contacting us by email

The website’s forms (the message form on the Contact page, the partner enquiry and the catering enquiry) send no data anywhere: once filled in, they open your own email program with a completed message addressed to the bakery (info@komaromypekseg.hu). You send the message yourself from your own mailbox; the website neither stores nor passes on anything you write in the form. An email you write directly to our email address reaches us in the same way.

Data processed
What you give in the message: typically your name, your email address (as the sender of the message), your phone number if you give it, the subject and your message. For a partner or catering enquiry, also what you tell us about the request, for example the name of the company or the accommodation, the town, the products requested, the quantity and frequency, the start date or the details of the event.
Purpose of processing
Answering your enquiry, preparing the offer requested and keeping in contact while the matter is dealt with.
Legal basis of processing
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); for a request for an offer, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Duration of processing
One year from the closing of the enquiry, unless the law requires longer retention (for example because a contract results from the enquiry): in that case, for the period the law requires.
Who may see the data
The bakery’s staff who handle the enquiry, and the bakery’s email provider, on whose server the mailbox runs (processor): Media Center Hungary Kft., 6000 Kecskemét, Sosztakovics utca 3. II/6., company registration number: Cg. 03-09-114492. We pass the data to a third party only if the law obliges us to.
How the data are stored
Electronically, in the bakery’s mailbox.

Giving the data is voluntary; if you do not give them, we cannot answer your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@komaromypekseg.hu; the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it (Article 7(3) GDPR). The message you send is also processed by your own email provider, under its own terms.

Contacting us by phone

On the website the phone numbers are links: when you tap one, your device starts the call; the website records nothing about it. During the call a member of the bakery’s staff learns your phone number (unless it is withheld) and what you say during the call. We process these data for the same purpose, on the same legal basis and for the same period as an enquiry by email.

The website’s hosting

The website is served by Replit, Inc. (hosting provider, the bakery’s processor). The website is static: every visitor receives the same files, and there is no database behind it. Like every web server, the hosting server sees the IP address of the device sending the request and may record technical access data for the operation and security of the website.

Data processed
The IP address, the time of the request, the address of the page requested and the browser type.
Purpose of processing
Serving the website, its smooth operation and its security.
Legal basis of processing
The bakery’s legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Duration of processing
According to the hosting provider’s rules, for as long as is necessary to operate and secure the service.
Processor
Replit, Inc., 1001 E Hillsdale Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404, United States of America; privacy notice: replit.com/privacy
Transfer to a third country
Replit, Inc. is a company operating in the United States of America and, according to its privacy notice, runs its services mainly there, so these data may be transferred to the United States, outside the European Economic Area. The transfer is based on the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission, contained in Replit’s data processing agreement (replit.com/dpa) (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Service providers we use

In connection with the website and with contacting us, we use the following service providers and tools.

The website’s hosting
Replit, Inc. (United States of America), processor; details: The website’s hosting.
Email
Media Center Hungary Kft. (Kecskemét), provider of the bakery’s mailbox, processor; details: Contacting us by email.
Google Search Console
A Google tool in which we see how the website appears in Google Search (aggregated data, for example how often a page appeared in the results and how often it was clicked). The website loads nothing from it, and we collect no personal data about our visitors through it.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other visitor measurement tool, a Meta (Facebook) pixel, Google Tag Manager or any advertising or remarketing code, and there are no embedded maps, videos or social media modules on the website. The website does not use cookies either (see: Cookies).

Replit may insert its own visitor measurement script (i.replit.com) into the pages it serves. The website’s security setting (Content Security Policy, CSP) blocks it: the browser does not load it, so no data reaches Replit or us through it.

Cookies and data stored in the browser

The website uses no cookies and does not track your visit. It stores a short local marker in the browser, which it sends nowhere; you can read about it at the end of this notice, in the Cookies section.

External sites

The website points to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps and other external sites only with links: it does not load their content, so these providers receive no data about your visit before you open a link. When you open a link, the site you visit learns at most that you came from our website. From then on that service’s own data protection rules apply; the bakery is not responsible for them.

Automated decision-making and profiling

The bakery makes no automated decisions based on personal data and carries out no profiling (Article 22 GDPR).

Data security

The website can be reached only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and instructs the browser to use the encrypted connection (HSTS). It is a static site: it has no database and no user accounts, and it does not store the data typed into forms either. With security headers and a content security policy (CSP) it limits whether other sites may embed it and from which sources code may run on it.

Personal data breach

If a personal data breach occurs, we report it without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours at the latest to the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), unless the breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects (Article 33 GDPR). If the breach is likely to result in a high risk, we also inform you without undue delay (Article 34 GDPR). We keep a record of breaches and of the measures taken (Article 33(5) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the following rights in connection with the processing:

Access
You can ask whether we process personal data concerning you and, if so, which data, for what purpose, for how long and to whom we have passed them; you can also ask for a copy of the data (Article 15 GDPR).
Rectification
You can ask for inaccurate data to be rectified and incomplete data to be completed (Article 16 GDPR).
Erasure
You can ask for your data to be erased, for example if they are no longer needed or you have withdrawn your consent; a legal obligation may prevent erasure (Article 17 GDPR).
Restriction of processing
You can ask us only to store your data – for example until their accuracy has been checked – and not to carry out any other operation on them (Article 18 GDPR).
Data portability
You can receive the data we process by automated means on the basis of your consent or a contract in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and ask us – where technically feasible – to transmit them to another controller (Article 20 GDPR).
Objection
You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest (the hosting’s logging) (Article 21 GDPR).
Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Article 7(3) GDPR).

How to exercise your rights

You can send your request by email (info@komaromypekseg.hu) or by post (Komáromy Pékség Kft., 8315 Gyenesdiás, Strand utca 5.), and you can also tell us by phone (+36 83 316 168). We reply to the request without undue delay and in any event within one month of receiving it. Where necessary, this period may be extended by two further months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests; we will tell you so within one month, giving the reasons for the delay (Article 12(3) GDPR). The information and the action taken are free of charge (Article 12(5) GDPR). If we have doubts about the identity of the person making the request, we may ask for the additional information needed to confirm it (Article 12(6) GDPR).

Remedies

If you believe that we have infringed your rights relating to the processing of your personal data, please contact us first so that we can put your complaint right. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR; section 52 of the Infotv.):

If your rights are infringed, you can also go to court (Article 79 GDPR; section 23 of the Infotv.). The case falls within the jurisdiction of the regional court (törvényszék); at your choice, you may also bring the action before the regional court competent for your place of residence or stay.

Children

The website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If a child under 16 writes to us, the consent of the holder of parental responsibility is required (Article 8 GDPR). If you know that your child has given us personal data without such consent, please tell us and we will delete the data.

Changes to this notice

The bakery may amend this notice if the way the website works or the law changes. The current version can always be read on this page, with the date it takes effect. This version is in force from 1 November 2026.

Cookies

Our website uses no cookies and does not track your visit.

We do not measure visitor numbers (no analytics), and the site loads nothing from third parties: the font, the images and the videos come from our own hosting. Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram are only plain links that take you there when you click.

We store the following short local marker in the browser. It is not a cookie: the browser does not send it to the server, and the website does not pass it on anywhere either. If the browser does not allow local storage (in private mode, for example), the site works without it; only the opening animation then appears on every visit.

km-visited
Remembers that you have already visited our site, so the home page’s opening animation appears only on your first visit. Value: 1. Storage: the browser’s local storage. Lifetime: until you clear your browser data.
